We’re now past the holiday release rush season, if the scant few titles below for the next two weeks are any indication.

My pick is The Saboteur. It seems like a pretty cool take on World War II that even includes the use of Zeppelins despite that in reality they weren’t used in the war.

NEW GAMES FOR THE WEEK OF 11/29
Dirt 2 (PC)
James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game (WII, DS, PC, PS3, X360)
MX vs. ATV Reflex (PSP, DS, PS3, X360)
Martial Arts: Capoeira Fighters (PSP, PS2)
Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes (DS)
Rogue Warrior (PC, PS3, X360)

NEW GAMES FOR THE WEEK OF 12/6
Bookworm (DS)
James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game (PSP)
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (WII)
Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 5: Rise of the Pirate God (PC, WII)
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS)
The Saboteur (PS3, PC, X360)

New Releases 2008: March 2-15

It’s nice to see that a number of highly anticipated games are being released outside of the holiday season. This week and the next are hopefully proof that publishers don’t need to wait until the end of the year to release their big games. Gamers do take notice all year around.

THIS WEEK’S 3 BIG GAMES
God of War: Chains of Olympus
Army of Two
Bully: Scholarship Edition

THIS WEEK’S HONORABLE MENTIONS
Silent Hill: Origins
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Soulstorm

NEXT WEEK’S 3 BIG GAMES
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Condemned 2: Bloodshot
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates

NEXT WEEK’S HONORABLE MENTIONS
House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters
FlatOut: Head On
