New Releases 2011: January 16-29

newreleases011611

It’s slim pickings for all platforms not called the PlayStation 3 for these next two weeks. I’m not sure about whether I’ll get Mass Effect 2, but I haven’t ruled it out just yet. Mindjack will most likely go unnoticed despite it seems to have an interesting take on the shooter genre.

The sudden inclusion of Mega Man on the PSN is quite surprising. It’s the standalone PSOne import of the Rockman Complete Works series of games. This isn’t new to North American gamers, however. It was the version included in the Mega Man Anniversary Collection released in 2004-2005.

What of the games listed below are you excited for?

NEW RELEASES FOR THE WEEK OF 1/16
LittleBigPlanet 2 (PS3)
Mass Effect 2 (PS3)
Mega Man (PS3)
Metal Slug X (PS3)
Mindjack (PS3, X360)
Monday Night Combat (PC)
Plants vs. Zombies (DS)

NEW RELEASES FOR THE WEEK OF 1/23
Dead Space 2 (PC, PS3, X360)
Two Worlds II (PC, PS3, X360)

New Releases 2010: Sept. 5-18

This coming week is the release of PlayStation Move along with a few launch titles.

The game I’m most interested in is Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions along with what seems to be a beat-’em-up in Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

If you’re into shoot-’em-ups Konami has you in mind with the release of Otomedius Excellent. Now if we could just get these types of games on both systems.

The big release of these two weeks will be Halo: Reach and I’m sure Dreamcast lovers will be all over the downloadable version of Sonic Adventure.

NEW RELEASES FOR THE WEEK OF 9/5
Batman: The Brave and the Bold the Videogame (DS, WII)
Dragon Age: Origins – Witch Hunt (PS3, X360, PC)

New Releases 2009: April 26-May 9

Alright, back again. Today it’s time for another edition of New Releases. Sure it’s a few days late for this week, but I figured why not since I didn’t do an entry for the previous two weeks.

My pick for this week has to be the great looking, and hopefully a great playing, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. For next week I’ll go with Klonoa with a little of Plants vs. Zombies even if it’s only for the catchy theme song (Japanese version).

NEW GAMES FOR THE WEEK OF 4/26
Banjo-Tooie (XBL)
Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce (PSP)
Nobunaga’s Ambition (WII)
Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier (DS)
Velvet Assassin (PC, X360)
Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram Ver.5.66 (XBL)
X-Men Origins: Wolverine (PSP, PS3, WII, PC, PS2, X360)

NEW GAMES FOR THE WEEK OF 5/3
Crysis: Maximum Edition (PC)
Fallout 3: Broken Steel (PC, X360)
Klonoa (WII)
Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust (PS3)
New Play Control! Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (WII)
Patapon 2 (PSP)
Plants vs. Zombies (PC)
Puzzle Kingdoms (DS)

Anything look good to you?

Like always, I’ll put up another blog here soon. So thanks for reading.
